6th and 8th graders in Mrs. Johnston's science classes participated in Reconnect Day on Monday. Reconnect Day was a structured speed-chatting format where students rotated partners while discussing conversation prompts about their break, their first semester reflections, and getting to know classmates they may not have connected with yet. The activity helped rebuild classroom community after time apart while giving students the chance to find new connections for the second semester.
