The high school and middle school Academic Teams traveled to Slippery Rock University yesterday to compete in two Academic Games Leagues of America events. Students put their knowledge to the test in Current Events, covering topics from January 1 through August 31, 2025, and then showcased their mastery of Norse Mythology.

Undefeated winners from Norse Mythology Competition are high schoolers Carter Manzer, Sam Gilligan, Kris Robinson, and Geoffrey Fair.
These victories qualify all winners for the upcoming State Tri-Bowl Tournament at Grove City College in March. Additionally, Carter’s second win of the season has earned him a coveted spot at the Academic Games National Tournament in April, hosted in Charlotte.
