Monica Gizienski

Hi! I’m Monica Gizienski, and I serve as the KAP Coordinator and Mental Health Clinician at Knoch School District. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Education from Woolf University, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about building positive relationships with students and helping them feel supported, connected, and accountable for their growth.

In my role, I:

● Coordinate the Knights Assistance Program (KAP) for students in grades 6–12

● Provide check-ins, goal setting, and ongoing student support

● Help students develop coping, self-regulation, and life skills

● Hold students accountable for their choices, responsibilities, and goals

● Connect students and families with school, community, and mental health resources

● Collaborate with students, families, teachers, counselors, and administrators

● Serve as the High School Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison

● Advocate for students and help identify and address barriers to success

I believe every student deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. My goal is to be a caring and consistent adult in students’ corners while helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and in life.
